Sad News and the True Meaning of Christmas
Hello Friends, Family and Acquaintances,
I hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas season. Today my sister Heather, a teacher at Dry Creek Elementary School in Sacramento, told me about a family at her school. They are the Gorelkin Family. They are from Russia and have 10 children ranging from 1-13 years old. On Tuesday the Mother of this family passed away. She was 7 months pregnant. The family is very poor and very heartbroken. I feel deep down in my heart that this family truly needs help and I know there is only so much I can do, so I am reaching out to all of you for help. I know money is tight for everyone this year, but if there is any help that you can provide for this family in need it would be truly appreciated. If you would like to send a donation by credit card, you can visit my blog and click on the "donate" button on the right hand side:

or if you would like to send a check, you can make it out to:
Sal Garcia: Principle of Dry Creek Elementary
5529 Myrtle Dr
Loomis, CA 95650
Or if you would like to drop off a donation or toys/clothes for Christmas for the children, you can come by my house or Heather's (for those of you who live close by)
If anyone has any ideas on how we can best help this family, please feel free to email me.
Thanks you all for your loving support. We truly appreciate everything! Merry Christmas!
Love,
Vanessa Hunt
