Baby Jack Loves Giving Daddy Kisses

Daddy's Little Plumber

We've been doing a lot of work around our new house and Abbi has been such a big helper. Here she is helping daddy install a new sink faucet...

This is Baby Jack's New Girlfriend...

Pat-a-Cake Jack!

Washy Up...

Abbi decided that baby jack was very dirty and needed to be sanitized during bath time!

This One's for You Lisa...

I've drooled over these catalogs for years! Just thought I'd share. If I had the money I'd buy matching dresses for Abbi and I and wear them all the time! Check out the website here.

This is what happens when you leave your 2 year old alone in the Tub...

I tried to take a picture of the floor and Abbi jumped in front of the camera and said "cheese" What a skunk. I don't think she understands what she did!

So I was giving the kids a bath and had just put as my Facebook Status how much I love giving my kids a bath, Jack got sad so I got him out and got him dressed and ready for bed. But while I was doing that (5 minutes) I heard something start to drip like someone had turned the kitchen sink on. I look over into the kitchen and water is dripping out from one of the lights! I thought, "Oh no, the roof is leaking rainwater through" And then I realized that we live in a 2 story house and above the kitchen is our bathroom where Abbi was. I ran upstairs and Abbi was sitting in the tub looking so innocent with a GIANT puddle of water on the carpet and NO water in the tub. I said, "Abbi, what did you do?" and she answered me "Wash mama's chair." I keep a folding chair by the tub so I can sit and watch the kids and she thought it needed a good washing so she used the cup in the tub to "wash" it for me. Isn't that [sweet???] Sometimes I just can't believe this is my life!

There's that guilty look!

Dirtiest Job Ever...

Today, I sent in a dirty job idea to Mike at Dirty Jobs:

Hi, I've had a lot of dirty jobs in my life, like cleaning public restrooms, cleaning up after animals, scrubbing restaurant kitchen mats, and being a preschool teacher, etc., but the dirtiest job I've ever had in my life is being a MOM! Between poopy diapers, snotty noses, catching vomit and urine in my hands, washing out rotten milk cups, cleaning out potty training toilets, removing choked on objects from throats, digging poop out of the bathtub drain, and the list goes on and on...I've decided that this is the dirtiest job ever! I think it would be really fun to do a show and follow the every-day-lives of several moms of kids of all ages and see the messes that they deal with! Just a thought!

Always Check Your Kids Homework

I Stole this from my friend Tiffani's Blog...

Mrs. Jones, a first grade teacher, gave her class a homework assignment to draw a picture of the person they most wanted to be like when they grew-up.

(Here's the reply the teacher received the following day)

Dear Mrs. Jones,

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.

I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot.

From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

Sincerely,

Mrs.Smith

Someone Hates my Blog!

hahaha, so on the poll to the right...someone said they hated my blog format! haha. It's ok, you're still in the minority. But now I'm curious! Who was it? Speak up, if you're brave enough blog hater!

All By Myself!

So I put Abbi in the bath tub before bedtime just like every night, then I sat down in a chair next to the tub to watch her and play with her and she said, "Mama go downstairs, I do MYSELF!" My 2 year old wanted her alone time in her bath! How sad is that? She is growing up too fast! Slow down little girl!

Isn't this picture so flattering?

The Naked Drummer

I just watched this movie tonight. It was soooo hilarious! I want to watch it again! Here's a little clip for you. Please do enjoy...

He's Just Not That Into Chick Flicks...

Having trouble getting your BF or DH to the movies to see this one for V-Day? Just have them watch this informational video...

I haven't seen this movie or anything so I don't know if it's good or not, but I sure thought this was hilarious!

Leslie Patricelli

I absolutely love this author/artist. They are some of my favorite baby books! There is one more that I have, I'm not sure why it's not on the list, called No No Yes Yes. It's my favorite! Anyways, I just love them and so do my kids! Go to her website here!/

Peek-a-Boo!

For some reason Abbi thought Peek-a-Boo was really hilarious today!

Busy Body/Big Helper

Abigail is such a little busy body. She loves to do everything I do, including chores. She loves to help put laundry in the washer and dryer, clean the bathtub, change the baby's diaper, feed the baby, and lately she has been very good at helping me with the dishes. I rinse the silverware and she puts them in the dishwasher, then when we empty the dishwasher she puts the silverware away for me. This is a big help, but it means that our silverware drawer is always such a mess! I am so grateful for my big helper! What would I do without her? I love you Abigail Claire!

Totally Busted!

So it got really quiet all of a sudden and I couldn't find Jackson. He was in the living room, then he crawled all the way to the playroom, found a sucker on the floor that I've never seen before, unwrapped it and was eating it! No wonder it was so quiet!

New Do!

Buddy now has enough hair to do something with! Isn't it cute?

Do you see those 2 little teeth down there?

Love it or Hate it?

What do you think of my new blog format? This will allow me to post larger images, but it means I can't have those cute backgrounds! Vote if you love it or hate it on the right hand side. Thanks!

Remember These?

Does anyone remember these fisher price toy radios from the 70's and 80's. I had a lot of them when I was a kid and just loved them (I specifically remember driving my mom crazy with an "It's a Small World" one). Anyways, this one was mine when I was little and it's one of the only toys I have left from my childhood. It still works (it's a little sticky because I spilled Apple Juice on it, and not when I was a kid, I mean a couple months ago)and it's my kids' favorite toy! They just don't make 'em like they used to!

The Making of Cheese

This is what Abbi does every time I take her picture. It's how we get all the funny faces!

Just for fun...

Clap-On!

Baby Jack is Learning how to clap his hands! He likes to do it after every bite he takes usually...this creates a lot of mess at meal time!

Me and My Boy!

Baby Jack and I got to spend some rare quality time together today while Abbi took a long nap! He's such a cutie don't you think?

It's Too Late...

Abbi has a new favorite song she's been singing all week long. She heard her cousins singing it on American Idol Wii. See if you can figure out what song it is...

Yep, that's right. It's too late to "polygize" it's too late!
(don't mind the pile of unfolded laundry behind her!)

And the Reverence Award Goes to....

ABIGAIL!

Today at church Abbi was having a hard time being reverent. During the sacrament I told her to sit still, fold her arms and think about Jesus. So she folded her arms and bowed her head. Grandma, who was sitting next to her offered her a fruit snack. Abbi put out her hand to turn away the snack and said to her grandma, "No, thinking about Jesus." What a reverent little girl! Just thought I'd share that sweet experience with everyone!

Park Fun!

We took an impromptu trip to the park Tuesday. We were trying to go to Denny's for the free grand slam, but our kids fell asleep in the car, so we went and got cheap mexican food through the drivethrough and parked in front of a park to eat. But Abbi woke up and saw the park, so we had to play! Here are some pictures of the kids having fun!

HAM & CHEESE!

I can't get a regular smile out of my daughter these days! She is such a ham!

Bath Buddies

Abbi's new do!

5...4...3...

2...1...

Knockout!

She's not really punching him. I'm not sure what she was doing, but that's what it looks like she's doing in the picture. I thought it was funny!

Check out this video of Abbi washing Jackson's hair. What a good sister! Then watch her take away all his toys! Little miss BOSSY!

Our Little Swimmer

Baby Jack is learning to crawl, or swim, we're not really sure which one. We think he would make an excellent breast-stroker! Just check out those froggy legs:

Snacker

Buddy just loves his snacks!
